Conquer Concord Scavenger Hunt (Concord)

A scavenger hunt is really fun way to teach girls about our history while having a blast doing it. Girls will have a unique experience while learning about the American patriots who fought the British in Concord, famous writers walked and talked there, and now you can hunt there. The kid-friendly, very walk able streets make for a delightful hunt, as your team searches out historic homes, charming stores, memorable monuments, and more. As you walk in the footsteps of Louisa May Alcott, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and Nathaniel Hawthorne, you’ll discover the place where Thoreau spent a night in jail, a famous “lost” statue, secrets involving slaves, an 18th-century tavern, a great place for snacks, and a “misplaced” piece of the Old North Bridge, where the Revolutionary War began. This is an excellent way to get some exercise, learn about some history in a fun way. Presented by Watson Adventures.
